I have spent my entire professional career in the field of education. I have served as a teacher, a coach, and an administrator. I earned my bachelors degree and teaching certification from Boise State University. While at Boise State University, I completed a B.A. in History and completed the Boise State University student teaching program. After graduating from BSU, I spent my first five years as an Idaho K-12 teacher and coach. After five years in Idaho public education, I transitioned to becoming a collegiate coach and athletic director. I lead the athletics department for two collegiate institutions. Beyond my experience as a coach and athletic director, I also taught freshman seminar courses, headed and served on multiple committees for my institutions and conferences, and participated in community service organizations within the communities.
I am excited to be back in Idaho and to resume my career in Idaho public education as the principal at Stanley School and Challis Elementary. My personal goal is to improve all important educational metrics for our elementary school and to create an greater opportunity for our students.
